DC TRIP TO SEE LISA, FALL 2009

A commuter jet to Milwaukee, then on to DC! Stacey drives me to airport.
Lisa and I go to an authentic Chinese Tea House. We had tea and food also. The owner took our picture here.

Lisa and I play a number of games Scrabble. Had some bingos, both of us.

Lisa takes me to a birthday party! The little girl is from her church and is 3, I think.

Its halloween! And this guy really looks authentic.
Lisa, in her living room. I think this is the last day of my trip.

LAKE SCENES AND TREES CHANGING

Some scenes of a Madison Park and lake, temperature in the low 60's this week. Grass is nearly done growing for the season. Probably one more mowing. Fishing on the lakes is popular, but brisk. This lake will be completely frozen over in January. A couple more months.

Here are some trees changing color, although will be a couple weeks before full COLORAMA.

JULY CAMPING IN WISCONSIN.

Campsite set up. It is going to get cold over the next couple of days, but doesnt rain! Here is a great S'Mores, and Stacey showed up with Gina. We had a supper together. Chicken and Vegetable foil packets in the coals!

Kettle Morraine is a region in Southern Wisconsin where the glaciers
melted and dropped large amounts of rock. It it also hilly and covered with old forest, pine and deciduous.

Lisa and I visit a Vegetable Stand, find a Episcapalian Church in town of Whitewater. Our campsite is 10 minutes from Whitewater.

Lisa and I driving through the country, past Lake Ripley and some fields. With crops starting to grow... We really need rain, however.

Lisa and Dad talking, some of the roses at the parents house.

A WISCONSIN WEDDING

Danielle, my brother Dale's daughter, got married to Rob Van Nguyen. Rob is of Vietnamese heritage. They got married on a very windy, blustery day. So that is why you may see Danielle cringing a little! She and the bridesmaids stuck it out and we were shortly thereafter inside for the celebrations. Couple pictures, Dad and Jackie. Dave and Lynn. Good Fortune to Danielle and Rob and may their union grow into something beautiful.
