MAKING YOUR OWN COCONUT MILK

Will spoil you for the real thing.


Poke two holes in end of Coconut, Drain. If cloudy or pinkish fluid, discard coconut. One of these was a spoiled coconut. But hey they are only 1.29 and you can get a refund.



Bake in oven 325 for 30 minutes.

Hit the Coconut a few times with a hammer, and take out the meat.


Grind the coconut or fine shred it or put it in blender with a little hot water.


Cover with hot water and stir. Let sit ten minutes.



Run it through a cheesecloth and strainer setup.


You got Coconut Milk!
