LATE WINTER IN WISCONSIN

Downtown Madison and park area, A shelter house very busy in summer. Winter the swings sit idle but people still get out to fish the lakes, photo, walk the dog, jog. We Madisonians with our pasty complexions wait for the summer to come! When its over 50 degrees, you see people getting a tan. And throwing the frisbee.
A lot of people will visit Wisconsin for our snow and our summers and our seasons and our lakes.

The latest snowfall covered everything in the area, this is Murphy's Creek, actually in Madison city limits. A park area, pictured are a couple of cross-country skiers on a Sunday afternoon. Temperature is in the 20's, you can overheat if you
dress too warm.

SONICS OPENS IN MIDDLETON

Been jammed everyday, all day since they opened. Check out Sonics online for their menu. Nice Smoothies, Slushies, Shakes, Chili topped items, rollerskates, carhops, your tunes. Very 50's. Neon lights galore. Ocean Water, Toasty Melt Sandwiches, Large interesting menu.

WISCONSIN LAKES IN WINTER

An old fashioned ice shanty. Stays on the lake for the season and
then has to be towed in. This one is big, probably has a wood burning stove! A lot of people walk their dogs on the lake.

The lakeshore is lined with piers; in Wisconsin, the lake is frozen solid for about four months. Ice fishermen pull or drive their equipment out onto the lake, and fish all day. Walleye, Perch, Sunfish. All good eating.
