A WISCONSIN WEDDING

Danielle, my brother Dale's daughter, got married to Rob Van Nguyen. Rob is of Vietnamese heritage. They got married on a very windy, blustery day. So that is why you may see Danielle cringing a little! She and the bridesmaids stuck it out and we were shortly thereafter inside for the celebrations. Couple pictures, Dad and Jackie. Dave and Lynn. Good Fortune to Danielle and Rob and may their union grow into something beautiful.

HAPPY EASTER: STACEY OFF TO D.C.

Up before dawn, Stacey is going to catch a Milwaukee flight. She is in the air even as I post this.

Construction on the main streets of Madison, traffic continues to flow on this two lane as the streets are dug up. In a lot of areas they go down six feet or so and replace the base also. And any pipes there. All new meridian with plants, grass, and trees.

MID MARCH MORNING

The sun rises, cold and hesitant. Trying to warm the cold landscape. But Spring is coming... Still quite a bit of ice on the lake.

The Lakeshore, an old weathered tree.

The tree catching the morning light, a bend in the road. The road quiet this Sunday morning.

LATE WINTER IN WISCONSIN

Downtown Madison and park area, A shelter house very busy in summer. Winter the swings sit idle but people still get out to fish the lakes, photo, walk the dog, jog. We Madisonians with our pasty complexions wait for the summer to come! When its over 50 degrees, you see people getting a tan. And throwing the frisbee.
A lot of people will visit Wisconsin for our snow and our summers and our seasons and our lakes.

The latest snowfall covered everything in the area, this is Murphy's Creek, actually in Madison city limits. A park area, pictured are a couple of cross-country skiers on a Sunday afternoon. Temperature is in the 20's, you can overheat if you
dress too warm.
